We are limiting the locator to 4th. Bn. 3rd. Inf. Rgmnt. of the 11th. Brigade because we are trying to have a forum for its members and family members to reconnect! Other locators are available on the net for different units, just do a websearch.

name: Sandy Hargrove email: sandytopsail@comcast.net topics: Anyone who has information on Lane Kornegay Hargrove who was killed in Viet Nam on April 21st 1968. Someone sent me something but my computer crashed and I lost it all. Lane was wounded on April 19th. He was third in line when a bomb went off and Lanes leg was blown off and he had head injuries. My mother in law had gotten a letter from I believe the fourth person in line. I know my mother in law got a letter from Lane the day after we were told that he was dead so he wasn't in battle very long. Comments: I spoke to someone and someone sent me a map and the list of who was killed on which days. I can't believe I didn't print it because I print everything. But they want to make a memorial to both Joseph and Lane in North Carolina. Someone refered of Lane as the forgotten brother and that can never happen again. Lane will never be forgotten. Much more has been made over Joseph being left alive by the Marine Corp on Koh Tang island on May 15th 1975 which was his birthday. I just want Lane to have as much information as possible on that wall next to his brother Joseph Hargrove. Posted 3/17/07

I just got back from the Americal reunion and had a great time.I met a guy named Dennis Hunt who served with Charlie company from July 69 until he was wounded in September of 69.He has no recollection of names from his past and I was wondering if any of you serving during that time knew him.He would really like anyone who served with Charlie company during that time frame to contact him.
